We are travelling very often all over the world and never in our life we meet a person as Jeoanne, the owner of the apartment. She took care about us more than our mother, helping every need we had. She provide a taxi driver who showed us Mahe Island .Hubert was the best taxi driver in the world.

I like the area many thanks to do like shopping, booking experiences, good hotel and restaurants on the beach, a cazino if you like casinos. We love Coral Strand Hotel for eating there in their restaurants

There is not a lot of signposts for tourists to know where walking trails start. You need to research it yourself and when you get to the start of the trail there is a sign but no arrow to tell you where to actually walk!

We like long beach walks; we had a plenty of it in Bel Ombre...
We like long beach walks; we had a plenty of it in Bel Ombre. We like seafood; a lot of small nice places to have it. I would avoid going to La Plage which is located on the beach - very untasty, very unpleasant service. All other place were quite good. And, once again - our stay there - for 3 days - was too short; we could spend there much more!

Bel Ombre is a good place to stay and still be close to Beau Vallon beach, but you must have a car as public buses are not allowed for tourists due to Corona restrictions. Top attraction is the Anse Major trail.

The staff is extremely friendly and forthcoming to fullfil any request - to be honest I've been to many countries and many places, but never have I stayed at a place that has this kind staff working there. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Had a grand terrace overlooking the ocean and the garden which was a gem on its own. If we're ever to visit Seychelles again - and I hope we're back soon - we'll definitely come to Beach Cottages to stay!

We came to Seychelles to get married, and the planner was not answering her phone, or replying to messages. The manager contacted the planner for us, and found a hair and makeup specialist so the bride would look like the beauty she is. Then they surprised us with champagne, balloons and snacks after the wedding. The kitchen was well equipped, and the washing machine got a lot of use after our trips to the beach. Everything in the room is well organized and thought out. A good thing is the ability to order not expensive meals from the menu provided in the room. As usual on Seychelles, the dishes are big and 2 persons can share 1 meal. There is a relatively large supermarket nearby, where you can find almost everything you are used to in your native country.
