Paradise… definitely recommend to stay for a few days instead of just a day trip! Loved the laid-back vibe of the island. It only has a few cars, so very convenient to get around on foot or by bike. You can stop at the hidden beaches you discover on your way, enjoy the view of the tropical forest, and befriend the turtles you meet on your way :). For a bite, don’t miss Chez Jules, great fresh juices and amazing food!

Although I was unlucky to get 1 full day of heavy rains but I enjoyed the property with swimming pool and took a rainy walk around.
They have got best beaches and would recommend to visit Source D'argent beach for sunset.
Cycling around the beach road was also fun...!

The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches.
The island is really beautiful, paradise beaches. The only downside is that the concentration of visitors is the highest in Seychelles. That said, you can still find your spot in the shade on most beaches.

We have visited 3 islands - Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.
We would not return to La Digue, Mahe and Praslin are much more recommendable.
Anse Source de Argent and Anse Patates are very scenic, great to take pictures, but very hard to swim (stones and corals, need for special shoes), flat waters. Grand Anse is better to swim (we had big waves during our stay), but not really scenic.
Best beach on Seychelles - in our opinion - Anse-Lazio.

Unique island vibe, very friendly people (local and tourists as well), plenty of food options (shops, take-aways, restaurants). Recommend to rent bicycle and go around island to see all the beaches and spots. On the other hand a lot of running constructions, so I hope this island will keep its atmosphere forever :-)

It’s a beautiful island with stunning beaches , forest and giant tortoises. However it’s overpriced and overall service is of a low standard many times slow with no smile or no interest to make customer happy . It’s hard to get a good clean food . There are some nice takeaways though and lovely people who try to do their best but it’s not a majority .
Many shops have no prices on items . Water is not potable and the cheapest price for 12 bottles of 1l is around 15 Eur .
It’s not good destination for snorkelling as corals are very damaged and majority is bleached . Nevertheless it’s advertised as a place with stunning corals so we felt cheated when we discovered a reality of a reef . It’s still possible to see some sea animals like turtles , sting rays , tropical fish but not in abundance. We dived as well 2x but as we didn’t like much diving and they seem to us overpriced (220 for 3 tanks ) so we didn’t do more.
I personally prefer Indonesia or Maledives for snorkelling or diving .
Trips are also extremely expensive - such as 70 Eur for half day of snorkelling trip .
It’s a small island and transport is mainly by bicycle (it’s necessary to pay attention at lorries and taxis when cycling )
Overall, I think it’s good to visit for beach and nature lovers , max 1 week . It’s not good destination for snorkelling. We stayed 12 days- it was too long . It’s nice to see beaches but we wouldn’t return .
This property is so amazing. I made the mistake of only booking one night here, and the rest were at a hotel up the road. I spent twice as much at the hotel and this bungalow was way more comfortable and easy going! So clean, charming, relaxed, with welcome drinks and a tasty breakfast, good WiFi and a comfortable bed! The location was great, and having a bike rental on site was really convenient. I can’t recommend this place enough. When I return to La Digue I will definitely stay here!
This property is amazing from A to Z. The host is providing great service, going above and beyond what a hotel host would do. The room is spacious, the internet works without any disruption (not something to be counted on everywhere on Seychelles).
Around, you find Anse Severe, which is the most beautiful beach that is easy to access. I recommend taking a guide for the hike to the north point, and taking a hike to Anse Cocos. Do visit Bikini Bottom bar with giant tortoises roaming nearby.
The accomodation is located at the inner side of the island, very close to the ferry and the centre. The staff was very nice and helpful. It is located in a silent street a bit away from the greater resorts but closer to the local people living. It has a very great looking clean garden with separate kind of trees. The location was not noisy at all, it was great for relaxation. The breakfast was one of the best we had on Seychelles, being simple but still tasty.
Well located property not far from the jetty (easy walking distance). Mini-market within 100m of the property. Interior is basic but has everything one needs from a self catering unit. Bicycles are a good idea on La Digue and are available for rent at Coral Apartments. Breakfast appears to be standard throughout the Seychelles, expect 2 eggs, 2 slices of toast, fruit, juice, and tea or coffee. We had a very pleasant stay at Coral Apartments.
~5-10 minute walk from the jetty and easy to find. Breakfast is served on your porch and decent. The lady running the apartments and her help are very pleasant. Use the pool at the sister-owner hotel on north shore if staying. Bikes can be arranged for 150 Rup, cheaper by jetty if you arrange yourself 100 Rup. A/C a bit weak, if you are heat conscious, maybe not the ideal for you, although there is a fan as well.
The fresh welcome drink was lovely, good COVID-19 precautions, we were offered a lovely fresh breakfast on arrival, bike hire was great, staff very accommodating for an early check in and late check out. The location was also really nice as it was really beautiful with all the plants and flowers. Loved the property decor - very authentic and a great start to our first time in Seychelles.
The accommodation is very nice, we had the upper apartment in Chloe's Cottage 2 with large balcony under the roof. The breakfast was great, the service as well. You could always ask questions or get tips. Bikes, cab etc. were organized for us. The hostess there is incredibly warm and you can have a great conversation with her. We will gladly come back if we visit the Seychelles again.
The villa was great! It was just renovated and looking new, modern for seychelles standard. The owner is very hospitable and accommodative.
Unfortunately we stayed just for one night but our stay was pleasant.
We had to leave early for the ferry and we got our breakfast in the evening.
Breakfast is standard for la digue - a set breakfast of eggs, fruits and tosts plus coffee or tea.
Great apartment and amazing host! It was the best of our accommodations in Seychelles. Nice garden, sea view, bikes to rent for a reasonable price and fast wifi. The beaches nearby were very beautiful. The host picked us up at the ferry station which was very helpful. I wish we stayed longer :)
Zerof is a hidden 'value for the money' gem in La Digue! Jacinthe and the rest of her amazing staff were super hospitable and helpful. Need to rent a bike? You get it in 15 minutes. Want to go on a boat tour? Just tell it to Jacinthe a day in advance. Restaurant buffet on Friday was delicious.
One of the best apartment we stayed on Seychelles - location close to everything, great hosts, nice design, all the facilities you can think about and a pool - small but wet :) All together gives the whole apartment a homey feel. Special thanks to Rachelle for a Christmas gift!
Excellent and clean room with a nice garden view. Very good breakfast. I'll recommend having dinner at the hotel. The local creole menu is tasty, cheap and there is no need to work on dark streets without pavement (as it is common in Seychelles)
This was our first stop in the Seychelles and would highly recommend. Staff and facilities were very good and a special mention to Jude who was always so lovely to us at breakfast and the evening time! Food was excellent throughout the stay.
Very beautiful view and excelent location between to amazing beaches. Excelent Seychelles breakfast and very friendly staff.
We were picked up from the ferry port on the island and also took us early in the morning back to the port.
Thanks Natasha and everyone else for being so accomodating, friendly and helpful. Pick up and drop off to the jetty was really appreciated. Made for a comfortable stay and memorable time at La Digue. Hope to be back!
Best hotel at the La Digue, clean and modern, great nature around villas, very kind staff, everything were fast and sharp, really helpful and great responsibility. 5 star halfboard, romantic rooms.
For us this was the best accommodation in Seychelles. This business is run by a family and they are all very nice and ready to help if you need anything. We would go back definitely.
