The Manager of the hotel and his staff (including 3 dogs and a cat) are above any praise. If you seek for a well organized place to rest without problems do come to Puetz Travels Beach Resort. Mr. Marcus will make your trip a real holyday. Even wild crocodiles that live in the nearby river dream to move to the magic canals of Puetz Travels Beach Resort. I wish i were among the lucky ones. A picturesque place, you can take beautiful photos or relax by the pool. There is a restaurant and a spa. Special thanks to Fernando, he helped with any questions. Very responsive and pleasant person. I advise you to visit this hotel if you are tired of the noise and want to enjoy the silence. And the caring staff will do everything to make your stay at the hotel pleasant.

A cute couple of dogs living in the hotel was an advantage :) Every time you want to go out of the hotel, you need to take a hotel boat to cross the river, which is very interesting and not so common for many hotels, but you need to make sure that a boatman is there!KaterinaEgypt

The staff were super friendly and helpful and kindly gave us an upgrade and the chalets were simply gorgeous and had very fancy toilets. We rented brand new bicycles from the hotel and cycled out to the little fishing villages of the surrounding beaches and out to see the tile factories. The resort offers different treatments and yoga sessions.

We took a cooking class with Nilantha Gamage and Sobani and they were wonderful; felt like we were cooking with friends in their home. The outdoor kitchen was terrific and the food was genuinely the best we had in Sri Lanka; such an amazing experience!

Since we both need to eat gluten free, the manager and chef took really good care of us, serving us safe and very tasty food. The area is really quiet at night and the pool is nice as well.
